How to care for your jewelry?
Before putting on a piece of jewelry, check that the stone settings are secure. If you notice a stone is loose, have it repaired before wearing it. Store your jewelry in its original packaging or in cotton bags, separated from each other to prevent rubbing and scratches.
Avoid sleeping or showering with your jewelry on, and also remove it before swimming in the pool or the sea. Chlorine and salt water dull their shine and can discolor them.
Similarly, avoid contact with creams, perfumes, hairsprays, makeup, and household cleaning products.
If a piece loses its shine or you notice the thread of a pearl necklace is damaged, go to a jeweler for maintenance or repair. We recommend a general check-up once a year.
Care according to type
Cleaning gold jewelry and precious stones
Submerge the piece in warm water with dish soap gel for 15-30 minutes. For gemstones, carefully brush the settings from behind with a soft-bristled brush to remove any residue. Dry and polish with a chamois cloth.
Pearl care
Store them separately from other jewelry, in silk, cotton or velvet cases (never in plastic bags or airtight containers) and in a dry place. Avoid contact with perfumes or detergents. Keep them away from intense heat or cold. Clean them only with a damp cotton cloth, without chemical products.
